Bill Inge is a Horowhenua based sculptor inspired by the sea worn driftwood found locally on the beaches of Horowhenua and Kapiti. Combining it with Oamaru Limestone he creates beautiful natural sculptures that will complement any garden or outdoor space.
He also creates other sculptures using driftwood and LED's called the Light Series. During the day the driftwood is a natural organic feature of the garden. As soon as dusk comes, when the lights come on it takes on a more ethereal and contemporary form. When solar powered, it will remain shining until the early hours of the morning even on the shortest day of the year.
Bill's final type of sculpture combines the brilliant white of Oamaru Limestone, stainless steel with coloured stained glass to form a "visual feast" especially good when lit from ceiling or against a bright background. It forms a very contemporary piece.
