Great news is that it is back.
The Otaki Pot Festival and Garden Art Festival is open until 4.00pm Wednesday 25th. Opening hours are from 10.00am to 4.00 each day.
The Festival is held at Anam Cara Gardens, 150 Rangiuru Road, Otaki Beach or just follow the signs from the old State Highway.
Unfortunately all the sculptures at this year's Festival have been sold and all bar 2 have been taken to their new gardens. Still on the Festival exhibition area is the 2 bird Waiting for sunrise and 3 bird Our Joy.
I am demonstrating Oamaru Stone carving from 10.00am till 1.00pm on Wellington Anniversary Monday where you can have a go with the hand tools that are used to create the stone birds and learn more about this unusual carving material.

If you would like a similar sculpture in your garden, please use the 'Contact' tab to arrange a time to come and see the driftwood at the workshop in Ohau to start planning your unique sculpture. The waiting time for commissions is currently 3 months but my clients tell me when underway, it is a fun progress with a great result at the end.
It unique opportunity to have a sculpture in your garden that means so much to you because of your involvement in the piece. Each commissioned sculpture tells a tale to celebrate.
This is the driftwood that was used to form the sculpture in this year's Otaki Pot and Garden Art Festival called My Sisters.
